Together We Can Do More

This year has affected all of us. The pandemic and the movement for equity and justice have changed our lives and challenged us to better serve our underrepresented communities.

To serve the community as effectively as possible in this challenging time, CreaTV had to quickly change the way we provide our programs and services. Our staff quickly shifted our programs/services to virtual delivery. This was a significant change, but we have been able to evolve our classes and programs to continue to fulfil our mission and serve the community in new ways.

With the support of our donors, CreaTV offered our 5-week summer youth employment program for teens in underserved neighborhoods, Summer Documentary Institute, virtually. This month, low-income LGBTQ+ adults finished our 12-week documentary training program, DocuMentorMe, which was delivered through live virtual group instruction via Zoom.

To help keep our community engaged and connected, we revamped channel 30 to create The Outlet, which features videos submitted by community members, during shelter in place. Our staff delivered invaluable guidance to nonprofits on creating videos and other media to promote their organization or for fundraising/training events. We provided technical assistance and creative/editing services for their live virtual events.

Without the generosity of donors, this simply would not have been possible.  Working together, we can do even more in 2021.

Please make a generous contribution to CreaTV today.

Your support will help us give youth and adults the skills needed to gain confidence in creating and sharing media on issues that directly affect their lives.

Thank you!
