With all the challenges right now, we are really grateful to have the opportunity to continue our work with SJSU and De Anza interns and we want to introduce you to the wonderful new team that will be helping us out! They will each be making their own content for The Outlet and working remotely to help us serve the community the best way we can these days.
Hi, my name is Alex. I am a Radio, Television, and Film production student at San Jose State University. School has given me experience in things like working in a live multi-camera television studio, audio production for film, and even becoming an on-air DJ at the school radio station. I initially got into media mostly through going out and filming skate videos with my friends in the summer. My interests include video games, cartoons, and music (dubstep and metal). My favorite games include Stardew Valley, Halo, and The Witcher. Some of my favorite music artists are Svdden Death, Ghost, Slipknot, and Eptic. I am really looking forward to my time here at CreaTV, getting to meet all the great people that work here, and putting my skills to the test in a professional environment.
Hey all! I am Chris Garcia, I am a 5th Year Senior at San Jose State University as a Radio Film & TV major and aside from enjoying long walks on the beach with my pet cat, I also like making small stop-animations similar to stuff like Coraline & The Nightmare Before Christmas. I also enjoy helping others with their projects by providing Production Assistant or Editing support. I really enjoy learning new things so if you need some help with something, let me know!
My name is Karlo and I’m a RTVF major at San Jose State University scheduled to graduate in may 2020. During my time at SJSU I was a member of the cheer team and would often fill in as the school mascot (Sammy the Spartan). I’m also a member of KSJS and currently have my own radio show with the station. In the future I hope to be a part of great cinematography projects with one day living my childhood dream of being a stunt double.
My name is Sara and I’m the mother of four daughters. I’m also an honor student and Mellon Scholar at De Anza College, majoring in Political Science and Humanities, on the Dean’s List, and am a published editorial cartoonist/reporter for La Voz. In my free time, I’m an Intern for Otto Lee’s local campaign for Supervisor of District 3, and enjoy spending time with my husky, Bunni. Prior to attending college, I spent 16 years as a licensed professional stylist. A preview of my talent for costuming and makeup can be found in many places, but most notably in social media posts made by Showtime (TV Network) & Twin Peaks, from their installation at South by Southwest (SXSW), in Austin, Texas, in March of 2017. I’m passionate about leaving a positive impact on the community, and contributing to a happier healthier future for everyone.
