Donalda Watson-Walkinshaw joins CreaTV as the Director of Fund Development and Engagement. She will be building relationships with donors, corporate and foundation funders, and people in the community—and raising vital funds for programs and general operations.
Donalda brings more than 20 years of experience in non-profit fundraising to this new position at CreaTV. Over the years, she has managed multiple donor databases and conversions, large volunteer programs, capital campaigns, planned giving, annual appeals, grants, tribute/memorial gifts, events, major gifts, and developed new revenue streams. Her experience in almost all sectors of non-profits, including Public Television, health, higher education, libraries, parks, arts, and the environment gives her a unique perspective.
During her work with Public Television, she hosted live television, and wrote and produced pledge breaks for a program that was distributed and aired nationally. If you visit any park in San Francisco, chances are you will see commemorative benches that she worked on with donors and the SF Rec. & Park to install.
She has raised millions of dollars, during her career, for organizations in California, Nevada, and Colorado. And now, she is working hard to build relationships and raise funds at CreaTV. “I’m incredibly excited to work for an organization with such a talented, creative, and engaged staff, and a CEO and board who are working for the long-term growth and success of CreaTV. I’m ready for this new challenge.”
