CreaTV will be hosting genARTS Silicon Valley’s Creative Conversation, an annual program held in conjunction with the national Americans for the Arts program of the same name, on Monday, October 28 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at CreaTV. This special event is the first program being offered in the new CreaTV Presents series.
CreaTV Presents will include programs that increase awareness of local media arts, community development between media makers and change makers, and much more!
genARTS is Santa Clara Valley’s arts and culture leadership group that is dedicated to empowering creative individuals and emerging arts leaders. Americans for the Arts’ Creative Conversation is a national initiative that brings communities together in the month of October (National Arts and Humanities Month) to discuss issues of importance in local arts and culture sectors.
This year, the conversation focuses on the topic of “Past and Future” and how the visions of both are shaping the arts in our community. Special guest Ruby Lopez-Harper, Director of Local Arts Services at Americans for the Arts, will be moderating a panel of local South Bay experts. Panelists will bring experience in presenting festivals, leading a foundation or folkloric dance group, and starting a theatre company to the exploration of this topic.
See you on the 28th!
